What is the running time of the show?
Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas runs approximately 100 minutes.
Is there an intermission?
There is no intermission.
What is the recommended age for this show?
Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas is suitable for ages 3+, but has something for fans of all ages to enjoy.
What is included with a Balcony Box Package?
Semi-private balcony boxes for up to 6 people are available for family-friendly pricing of $300, including fees. Group reservations (8 or more people) are currently available through Group Tix and Tours at www.grouptixandtours.com.
Does my child need a ticket? Is there a minimum age requirement to see the show? Are lap seats available?
The recommended minimum age for this show is 3 years. All children require their own ticket. Infants are not allowed in the theater. Lap seats are not available.
What happens if my child becomes restless during the show?
There are quiet areas in the Fine Arts Building lobby where you and your child can relax outside of the theater. Our House Management team will help with entering and exiting the theater.
Can I take photographs during the show?
The taking of photos, audio, or video recordings is not permitted during the performance. There are fun photo opportunities before the show in the lobby, and you will be allowed to take photos of all of your Emmet Otter friends during their bows at the end of the show.
Will there be merchandise available for purchase?
Yes. Please visit the lobby before and after the show.
Where is the theater located?
The Studebaker Theater is located at 410 S Michigan Avenue in Chicago’s south loop and is highly accessible by a range of city buses or trains.
Is the theater wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there are ADA seats held in the theater and the theater is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the Box office with any accessibility requests by calling (312) 753-3210 x102, or emailing tickets@fineartsbuilding.com
Is parking available at the theater?
The nearest parking to the Fine Arts Building is the Grant Park South Garage.
Can you eat and/or drink in the theater?
No outside food or drink is permitted in the theater. Concessions will be available for purchase in the lobby before and after the performance.
What is the late seating policy?
Our House Management team will let you and your family in at a safe time to do so during the show. It is possible you will have to sit in seats other than the ones you purchased so as to not interrupt other families that have already been seated.
